Red Eagle has recently undergone an audit scheme for the TLWG and REC. The audits are part of Red Eagle’s development plan to increase customer service, improve standards and strengthen their reputation for excellence and brand image. Firstly, the REC audited scheme is a new scheme aimed at REC members who wish to demonstrate that their business is proven to operate to the highest standard and strictly within the code of practice. The 125 point audit covers all aspects of professional recruitment including, the employment agencies act, registration procedures, advertising and terms of business to name a few. Successfully passing this in-depth audit establishes Red Eagle’s credibility as a quality agency and sets them apart from their competitors.
Secondly, after April this year it will become compulsory to apply for a gangmasters licence should any business wish to supply labour to the food manufacturing/agricultural industry. If successful the TLWG audit allows the business to apply for a licence without further examination as the audit is conducted thoroughly over two days covering a number of issues including, health & safety, workers registration scheme, insurances, to name a few.
As a professional recruitment agency it was essential for Red Eagle to be able to demonstrate that their business could achieve a successful audit prior to the new regulations being enforced. Overall, the audits, in part have been a tool to demonstrate to clients and candidates alike, that Red Eagle’s commitment to quality, standards and service are not just overused words, but are the foundation of Red Eagle’s success.
